RoHS is a mandatory standard enacted by the European Union legislation, its full name is the "restrictions on the use of electronic and electrical equipment in the use of certain harmful ingredients directive" (Restriction of Hazardous Substances).
The standard was formally implemented in July 1, 2006, mainly used to regulate the electrical and electronic products, materials and process standards, so that it is more conducive to human health and environmental protection.
The purpose of this standard is to eliminate lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ethers six in electrical and electronic products
(Note: the correct Chinese name for PBDE refers to the polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) (two), which is a false statement, with a total of about 6 substances, with a focus on the requirement that the lead content should not exceed 0.1%.
